How to Burn Palo Santo

1. Hold one end of the stick over a fire-safe dish and light the opposite end.
2. Allow the flame to burn for approximately 30 seconds.
3. Gently blow out the flame and allow the stick to smolder.
4. Guide the smoke around yourself, your space, or the object you are cleansing.
5. Place the stick in a heat-resistant bowl, incense burner, or abalone shell.
6. Make sure it is completely extinguished after use.

Palo Santo may naturally stop smoking after a short time. Simply relight it whenever you would like to continue your cleansing or ritual.
